I want to thank all those who sent messages and info regarding SC's and Carrera's for sale in response to my request.

I found my car last week.It's an 1989 3.2 Carrera Coupe Silver Anniversary. 13,313 miles! I've had for 8 days now and with the onset of late winter weather here I've only managed to put about 250 miles on it.

The only issues I could find on the car (I did my own PPI as no shops nearby could do an impartial check) are the washer squirter's don't work due to a leak in washer tank. The seatbelt/parking brake warning lamp cluster does not work. Both items will be addressed and fixed by selling dealer. Car runs strong and there is no smoke at all as there should not be with the low miles. Car is tight and rattle free and with the exception of above items all equipment works. Even has the original Reno radio. Car still smells new...no musky odors at all.

Car was sold new at this dealer and over the next 18 years came back two more times to be traded in on a new Porsche. Now I'm the fourth owner and its my first Porsche!

I do have a question: it has the HD or intensive windshield cleaning system. The separate tank in the trunk is full of solution. However...I can not find the operating switch for it. The manual shows a switch under the clock side dash lip. I do not have such a switch. Anyone know more about this system?
