no, i can't move the piston back and forth. it appears to be really stuck. i tried to put a screw driver on the end and push... wouldn't budge.
i plugged it in with the key turned on, and it hums and vibrates like it's supposed to, but the piston just 'twitches' every 2 seconds while sitting there.
