I have an 84 928s auto, i like to shift with stick..start in first by shifting to (2) position..gets first gear great, but...shifts to second at 4000-4500 instead of 5500!! i posted this problem before and got great advice...followed advice about tightening cables..little to no effect!! sometimes when cars cold it WILL shift at 5000..??? Anymore advice for me..anything else i can try??
