Then Beijing for another feature. Two weeks ago I was in New Zealand again for Prince Caspian. No, I don't get a personal gopher, sorry.

It may sound exotic and exciting, but its a lot of sitting in airiports and on airplanes which can get very old. Plus you get screwed on your own time. I'd have had an engine I'm rebuilding done a month ago if it were not for the travel. As it is, I need a few hours to get it (hopefully) running, and that won't happen for another few weeks.
With all due respect? Waaaahhhh!

I'm a construction managment type on the Metro Goldline Eastside Extension project. I'm stuck out here in East L.A. managing heavy civil construction and I'd trade one of my um....er..."set" for your job. I've done the heavy travel thing earlier in my career and I know it gets old fast. But I found ways of coping and with 20-20 hindsight, I wish I still had a job that let me do what it appears your job does.

Just out of curiosity...what/where'd you start to end up as a site scout like that? I'm NOT trying to get into "the business". I just wonder how that kind of job happens?
