So in the Northern Hemispere toilets flush clockwise, and in the Southern Hemisphere it flushes counterclockwise. Interestingly, if you are directly on the equator, the toilet flushes straight down. My question is- does this lack of swirling action make the flush less effective? I am thinking that the TP and poopies would be more likely to bunch together and make a nasty clog. Does anybody here have any equatorial toilet experience? Video demonstrations would earn you SERIOUS bonus points.
