I am saying that the 3.3 turbo and the 3.2 Carrera are the same case. Don't know why Klaucke thinks they're not. Maybe he could elaborate. The case for the 3.0 turbo fits the early 6 bolt flywheel crankshaft like the 2.4/2.7 had. This is also the case that was on the 3.0 Carrera (76-77).

When Porsche made the 3.3 turbo they used a 9 bolt flywheel crankshaft like on the SC but with a longer stroke (like the 3.2). They then used this case and crank to create the 3.2 Carrera.

I used to fly F-15C's but I'm retired from the Air Force now. I flew the sim out there at the factory for some MSIP training in the 80's.
