I posted my experience as recently as day before yesterday. Seriously, when was the last time you visited the deep south? And where? How long?
I agree there may be enclaves of intolerance, but they certainly aren't limited (or necessarily more prevalent) in the deep South. They exist in other areas of the States, Europe, the World.
