That's another one I don't buy.
An example: the stereotypical mugging scenario plays out as it does because the bad guy assumes you're not armed. He points a gun at you and demands your wallet, you hand over your wallet, and he bails. If he had a reasonable expectation that you were armed, he would cut out the 'asking' bit and just cap you, take your wallet, and be on his merry way. I think it would be naive at best to assume that just because everyone
might be armed, that nobody will want to rob them.
I'm not anti-gun, I just don't think the CCW-pistolpia will play out quite the way you guys think it will.
