The only solution is to alternate drivers every two weeks. As a personal favour, I will take it off your hands for the first two weeks of each month. No charge - that's just the kinda guy I am.


Seriously. Just shut-up and drive. You have nothing to worry about, so long as it has US plates. If you get pulled over by the RCMP or city police just don't tell them that your brother has left the country. No need to let things get more complicated than they need to be.

There are no problems with a US car unless you want to register it locally, then you need to jump through various hoops.
