...and not even all that reliably then. My girlfriend had a flat in her SL-55, damaged the side wall and it carries no spare. Called AAA and they wanted to argue with me when I told them it had no spare, that the dealership was "only" about 2-3 miles away and I said, "No, it cannot be driven there on a flat..."
and an even bigger argument when I told them it was too low to be towed conventionally, had to be a flat bed. The person had no idea what the car was and couldn't have cared less.
