Like wipeout said, the wheel doesnt adjust up and down. After I broke 2 out of the 3 spokes on my early steerign wheel in my '83 I got a late 4 spoke steering wheel. The late wheel is smaller in diameter and sits about 2" closer to the driver and because of the angle of the steering shaft this lifts the wheel a little bit higher as well. I am 6'3 205 Lbs and before my kneeks would contact the steering wheel while I would heal-toe down shift but now its perfect.
