Unique ammo. Besides, it is not at all a new development as they claim. The Soviet 7.62x25 pistol round has been defeating soft body armor for decades.
For my choice of an armor penetrating CQB weapon, give me a suppressed AKS-74U. It's just as compact, hits harder, has common parts interchange ability, uses a standard ammo, and is reliable.
