you guys are talking like a little rust is the end of the world. Just because its a porsche doesnt mean it has to be prefect. I say drive it and look at it Alot. Driving it should tell you weather the mechanicals are in order or not and looking at it will tell you if and where its rusted as well as leaks and such. Then if it still strikes your fancy go for the ppi. 12k is definatly too much $ by the looks of it. My 82sc was advertized at 13k and i walked away with it for 9k. just my .02
