78 911 SC
Hi Bob,
Sorry to hear about your negative experience with buyers. That sometimes happens. My 1st Porsche was an 83 911 SC Euro. So, I understand the frustration you must feel. Since, I am a previous SC owner, I hope you are not offended by my thoughts.
1st...SC's are great cars...period. However, their market value does not represent the previous statement. Unfortunately, SC's are really not in great demand. There are too many to choose from and the leverage is with the buyer.
So, in reference to your 78 SC, it is a tough sale. Leverage is with the buyer and they can take it or leave it. They have plenty of options. Market value often lacks logic and justification. It is, what it is. So, unless you are able to accept market value....which I am sure is rock bottom, keep the car.
Again, "SC's are great cars...period." In fact, I will go one step further. They are the most reliable affordable Porsche you can own-(Opinion) BTW...my 83 Euro SC is approaching 300K miles....case has never been split and I see it every year at the German Auto Fest.
Best of luck Bob,
Paul
