Clobbered By The Flu
So, this weekend I was clobbered by a flu-like something-or-other.
Started feeling it Sat evening, was in fever-and-shakes mode by early Sun AM, basically stayed in bed, alternating between shivering-cold and sweating-hot, for the next 24 hours. And for the following 12 hours I was still unsteady on the stairs and felt like my IQ had been halved. Sure glad I didn't have anything important to do during those days.
When you guys/gals feel a flu-thing coming on, what do you do? Is there any way to make it shorter?
And is there any merit to "breaking a fever"?
