I have now lived with two women that have had hysterectomies (sic?) and in both cases it (obviously) eliminated the pain they were suffering but in both cases, drastically changed their sex drive. I hope you have better luck.
My ex wife had hers young in her mid 30's. My girlfriend in her late 40's. In my ex's case hormone replacement therapy was given but she eventually discontinued it; said it made her feel weird. In my girlfriend's case it was not given. As I understand it, HRT is not done as commonly as it once was. I also understand that in removing the ovaries they lose their source of esotrogen but also they lose testosterone which they have in minute amounts and which provides their libido to a great degree. I may be all wet on all of this, I just know "things" changed, and not for the better for the man. Again, best of luck.
