red-beard, You're right of course..."personal lubricant" will get the job done...assuming she still has a drive.
In my case(s), the drive was sharply diminished. I've never heard of nerves being cut which effect the drive. Not saying it isn't possible, but I think the drive mostly comes from the mind and the endocrine system. livi can chime is here!
In my girlfriend's case, the cervix and one ovary were not taken....but it didn't matter. The ovary ultimately shut down fairly fast afterward and did not act to preserve "drive" anyway. In my ex's case, her strong drive from before only existed in her mind afterward but less and less until largely an afterthought by age 42, yikes!
