Even know-nothing, completely ignorant of current event inner city kids know what the sentence is for a given crime. They live around it all the time. They know when they'll be prosecuted as a minor and when and what it will likely take toi get them sent to the state peneteniary instead of the California Youth Authority.

I wish a sentence was a sentence. Armed robbery? Whatever the sentence...10 years? You serve the ten. Not 5 with "good behavior", 10 period. The word would be on the street in no time.

This case is sickening. Raping achild and murdering an entire family; then getting a "for show" sentence and getting off with relatively nothing - we all ought to hang our heads in shame.
