No one has ever given a $hit about the US serviceman before...why start now? We have it much better under this administration than the previous...why was no one crying about the US Serviceman's plight before? Because now they want to use GIs a tool against the war and the President. As soon as we cut and run...or we elect another Democratic President...no one will care again. It is funny how almost everyone that has posted here has failed to blame their elected representatives who are the ones who really provide funding for the miltary...and in particular the Democrats who have opposed military funding for the last 40 years. Many of us still work every day in building that are overrun with roaches and rats...and have been condemned for asbestos etc...for over 20 years. These are not new problems. They are indicative of the decline that we had before the war. We hardly expect much spent on infastructure during wartime...it was the 8-10 years prior that did the damage. Heck, my building has had no heat this winter, and often has no AC in the summer...and even when it works...it is not very well. Even now Democrats are trying to cut funding for our troops while we are at war...Having the same folks who whine incessantly about military spending...act like they actually give a crap about the military turns my stomach.
