Given the way most of them drive, I'd suspect the stereotype is true.
It cracks me up to go on construction sites and see every "male compensating" subcontractor driving around in gigantic V10 powerstroke diesel trucks illegally jacked up about 12" with monster tires - all to carry one small toolbox and a hardhat.
It's the same thing that makes certain guys "have to" buy loud obnoxious powerboats or modded-out quads. The whole penis-size-compesation/redneck thing. Maybe it's genetic. Dunno. I don't really understand it.
