As a Vietnam era veterean, I wish someone would explain to me in simple terms exactly what we would have "won" had we "won" the war in Vietnam. Seems to me the Vietnamese are a lot better off now as opposed to what I think would have been a situation similar to N. and S. Korea today had we "won". The government of South Vietnam was extremely corrupt and had very little popular support.
