I know I said I won't post in this thread anymore, but after seeing those extra pics on page 23 here:

The whole frame of the car is rusty!!! If the previous wrench said that the car has a lot of bondo, believe him.

You mentioned people saving barn finds - yes, but this car has non-matching engine, is not an S, and you are a student, not a millionaire car collector. So let it go, be glad you let it go, that car is not worth the tears to be honest. If it was a pre-A Speedster or a 67R, sure, but not for this.
