Since that other car didn't have the correct matching numbers motor and will never be worth a bizillion dollars, how about buying a mechanically perfect bullet proof SC and painting it your favorite color? I bet a box of donuts that there is a Pelican who knows a good shop that can take a car down to bare metal and do the job right.
