crush301's Story reminds me of an episode of TJ Hooker (curiously the only one I ever remember watching) where they were trying to catch a Jewel Smuggler? or something that raced the canyons in a 911 and parked it in his house. In the end, his young partner had tricked out the police cruiser with a roll bar and some shocks which was enough for Hooker to run down the Porsche.
Tom Mix, the special guest, was famously killed in a car crash.

I thought the best part of the Mulholland Festival notice was its noted return drive is eastbound ONLY. Sounds like they had something in mind?
