I'm the one who brought up parents, and I was not actually talking about him specifically but rather that other BBS in general. It seems like a lot of 23 year olds in college with a couple hundred thousand dollars worth of cars, but I'm sure that they all bought them for themselves and earned the money. Not.
Like I said, rich little ******s trying to impress each other. Out in the real world they would be driving a Ford Escort w/o Mommy and Daddy's $$. When and where I grew up, you would be laughed off the HS campus if you showed up in some expensive car that your parents gave you, it would be the height of pussy-dom. How times have changed.
The thing that I have learned from living in L.A. is to never be impressed by someone's money and especially not their car; 9 times out of 10 they either made their dough some weird way that is embarrassing to talk about or there is some low-life crime behind it. Truly accomplished people do not tool around in attention-whore cars revving their engines, in fact it is the sign of a loser. Think about it; all of the movie stars and billionaires who could buy 100 C-GTs and don't, then douche-boy has one. Case closed.
