I see. Because you don't know the effects of 75 pounds of blackpowder, which is no danger beyond about 50 feet unless it's contained in a pressure resistant vessel (the containers it comes in aren't), or that ammo isn't dangerous beyond the building it's in, so you've gone a bit hysterical resulting from that lack of knowledge.
And last, you can no more trust the government's "factoids" concerning this than you can depend on a Chimp to revise the General Theory of Relativity. Knowledge is power. Never trust government, ever.
