Java,, Again,, My Thanks.. Yes,, I have three switches that dont do a darn thing.. so Im not sure what I will do,, guess its time for fog lights,a new alternator, engine upgrade, a new house and maybe a new wife..LOL

Yes, I agree with the addition of the unit at import.. I also believe that it was added as a safety feature,, it is a Hella unit,,s o it would make sense..

I took out all the wiring that was no longer needed and finally have the cleaner front bonnet area that I was looking for.. I plan to drive and get familiar with this car and then maybe next year.. take it completly apart and redo the body,, I figure, by then, I will know this car like the back of my hand and be as familiar with this car as I wam with the triumphs, Healeys and MG's of this world..

I was really surprised to find no terminals for wiring on the rear window,, too funny..

Hey,, on the passenger side flapper box, up in the body, only noticeable when the box is out..,, there is a tube that appears to go from just inside that hole the box attaches to.. to appear in the engine box, just in front of the breather tube that comes out of the oil tank.. any clue why that is there?? That would be a great place for a air leak to enhance the poor heating capability of these cars.. any thoughts? Im considering plugging it,, to help the heating system
