I bought a used Autothority MAF last year for my 1990 964.
I sent it to Autothority to have it repaired/calibrated with the correct chip.

Thats their last e-mail:

Hello Sir,

I am sorry to tell you that we were not able to repair nor replace the 3.2 MAS sensor and have to ship this unit back to you. The problem here is that the company whom has produced the sensors for us for over 10 years had recently exchanged ownership and to make the long, old story short. The new people do not have the know-how nor interest to reproduce the products for us. They have tried and tried and tried but all failed. Please understand that we have lost a lot of sales because of this and we have tried to work with them but with no luck. And we are still looking for other alternative solutions because everyday we have peole called and requested for these products from 944T. 3.2 Carerra, 3.6 964, 993TT. As you can see that is a lot of lost business and we can not afford to do that.

Again, I am very sorry to keep your unit here for such a long time. Please let me know what you want us to do.
