After 9/11 Bush felt (and correctly in my opinion) that America's pimp hand had gone limp. That the bastards in this world didn't respect us or our word any longer. The most glaring example of this was Iraq and how they had thumbed their nose at us and the UN resolutions since the gulf war. Invading Iraq (after one last chance to abide 1441) was to be a signal to the world that our pimp hand was once again strong and that when we threaten force we damn well mean it.
Unfortunately it appears it(war in Iraq) may only serve to prove how soft we really have become, thereby inviting bold attacks.

All of the above is one of the silliest explanations apologizing for the bully-boy Bush II that I've seen in a long time. Do you rinse your mouth out after you've licked Bush II's boots?
