what to do about the stuff down by the head studs...
there is oil in the space around the head studs on the passenger side of the engine, and coolant in the space around the head studs on the driver's side of the engine. i got most of it out with canned air, as i don't have access to a compressor.
how worried should i be about this?
other than this, i am ready to start assembling. all the rubber hoses under the intake have been replaced, along with a new silicone hose for the BOV and a silicone connecting piece between the throttle body and the IC tube.
also, i got the spring tensioner off. not bad, if you know where the damn nuts are. had to print the page from the PET.
turns out i have RTE head studs (anyone heard of them?), along with the O-ringed cylinder head.
