Because those places are more business friendly, that's my point.
America has to view itself as in competition for Corporations/Business of all types. We cannot compete on labor rates so we must compete through quality/efficiency and "cost of location".
But no, we keep elevating taxes (especially property taxes) and increasing and raising the hoops to jump through. Workers Comp, health insurance, lawsuits, SOX, etc...
Then we wonder why they don't come/stay. This is all very simple/basic stuff.
