These guys assume that some portions of the Americans will take that approach -- "the truth is somewhere in the middle". Proper gaming theory would dictate that you then tell the most outlandish lies that you can since it will skew public sentement in your favor versus the moderate (both Dem's and Rep's are moderate compared to these guys) American approach. As far as I'm concerned, he's an enemy combatant who should be held for the duration. Once the war is over, put him up on War Crimes and Crimes against Humanity -- just like the Nazis.

BTW, he seems way to willing to confess to any and every Al Quida operation that's ever happened, including the Bali Bombings. Before I believe him, I'd need to see some proof or coorilation with unpublished data before I give him credit for everything including David Pearl's beheading, the Bali Bombings and Global Warming.
