I can't believe there are so many gun owners on a car forum. I thought I would be safe from all the macho gun talk. I can see no valid reason for people to own guns in this day and age. You can buy your meat at any supermarket, eliminating the "need" to go out and kill some cute, defenseless denizen of the woods. Self-defense is just a "911" call away; your personal safety is best left to professionals trained in such matters. Second Ammendment? It does say "militia", doesn't it? There is no individual right to own a firearm; they should all be turned in to responsible authorities as soon as possible. I find it simply appaling, this culture of guns here in the United States.
