Oh, bull*****. Our government is here to protect our individual rights; how in the hell are personally owned firearms supposed to do that? Our government, in its wisdom, grants us the rights we deserve; no more, no less. We should all be happy with that and just trust them to do the job they have sworn to do; to look out for our best interests and to legislate accordingly.
Our government, unfortunately, spends far too much time and resources on this gun issue. Time and resources better spent on more important issues, like hunger, poverty, and education. If it wasn't for you bunch of stubborn, ass hole redneck gun owners clinging to some long-obsolete notions of self-reliance, chivalry, and whatever other fantasies you hold, they could get on with more important stuff. Just turn them in and be done with it. It's for the greater good.
