SCs are a relative bargain now. Some of the early cars are bringing 2-3 times their value from the standpoint of longevity and driving experience.
The irrationality of the market just has some people stumped (see the value thread on 911 parts for sale section). But the market isn't rational.
I have an RS-look '72 coupe I'm getting ready for sale and it will bring a price equivalent to what an '87 - 89 Carrera coupe will sell for. Life just isn't fair.
