I remember looking at this cover with my older brother when I was maybe 6 years old. He asked me what I thought it meant, I told him that
'Looks like the monkey would rather eat cake than a book'.
He then asked me "Do you think that is why people are smarter than monkeys? Because we would rather injest knowledge than something that won;t really sustain us or provide true pleasure?"
To wit I replied 'I think the monkey is on to something, cake tastes way better than paper..."
One of many conversations with my big brother I will never forget.
