Interesting question. I never thought about it before. I have a fair amount of automotive art in my library. As I look around I see the following....

- Print of Ferrari F1 cars from 1948 to 1991

- Randy Owens "Ferrari/Ferrari" print of Mansell & Prost side-by-side in Ferrari F1 cars, circa 1990

- A Jay Koka poster from the Meadowbrook Historic Races showing Fangio in an Alfa F1 car

- 911 "Blueprint" poster, showing Porsche Carreras from 1974 to 1991

- A Bill Neale print showing Carroll Shelby winning a 1960 race at Riverside (his last victory as a driver) in a "Birdcage" Maserati (signed by Shelby)

- A Nicholas Watts print of Rene Dreyfus winning the 1930 Monaco GP in a Type 35 Bugatti (signed by Dreyfus)

- A Nicholas Watts print of Gijis van Lennep winning the 1973 (& final) Targa Florio in a Porsche 911 Carrera RS (signed by van Lennep)

- A Carol Fairchild print showing Gilles Villenueve in a lurid slide in a 1981 Ferrari F1 car

I also have some photos of my 1988 911 on the track, Fangio (1 photo shows him in an amazing slide/drift), Moss, Ascari, a photo of a Corvette Grand Sport taken at the Monterey Historics, etc.

I have more art in the basement, from many eras. And my next purchase will likely be another Watts print of Elford winning the Targa.

I guess I like all of the eras. And I think it is about both the cars & the drivers. So, I am not much help to you at all. Sorry.

I really like your work, by the way. But, unfortunately my budget is "print", not "original".
