Not a good idea to let a car sit for years without running. Fuel starts turning to varnish after sitting for a few months, and after a year or more, will clog your carburetor and other important fuel system parts.
I would drain all the fuel out of your tank and replace it with fresh fuel, prime the fuel lines (purging them of any old fuel), then disassemble and clean or rebuild the carbs.
For the future, it's a good idea to run it and let it get up to operating temperature at least once a month. Cars deteriorate more from sitting than driving!
