Description:
This came from California and Has NO rust, Pans are solid with NO rust, This is
the rare 959 Turbo Look with wide body rear fenders, they are stock and were a
$6000 option in '79, New battery, New brakes, New passenger window motor, New
tires(correct sizes), The engine runs strong, 3.0L engine with stock 13 qt sump
system, trans does not pop out of any gears(5 speed), steers and handles great!
Some of the problems so there is no confusion. 1st to 2nd syncro in trans is
bad(grinds when downshifting only, from 2nd to 1st) Does not grind upshifting.
Needs warm-up regulator($150 rebuilt)this causes the car to have to be started a
couple of times when cold. After it warms up a little, runs fine. Leaks a little
oil(don't they all), Seats have some split seams as they are original. Power
windows work fine, Cruise control doesn't work, haven't looked into it,
airconditioner doesn't work, belt is off compressor but compressor is not
frozen. Some scraped paint on front bumper, missing foglights, needs headlight
switch(they work but on a toggle), needs targa latches. Horn doesn't work.
