If you fly you know most of what you need to know. It's all about low pressure and how a wing reacts to it.
Sailing is a GREAT sport and sailing Cats is the ultimate in performance sailing. You simply have no idea until you've been on a cat in 20 knot winds. Pure adrenaline.
I bought this cat not long ago with trailer for $1200. It was like new. It could have been in one of those comic book ads as it was sold (originally) as a kit. The new owner had to assemble it. Probably a weekend of work.
