My previous DD was a 1983 Subaru BRAT. My wife met me, and didn't know I also had the Porsche for a few weeks after we met. I most definately agree with Joeaksa in that regard.

If you have a flashy car so that other people will know you have money you are:

1. Most likely a tool-shed anyway
2. Likely to attract the wrong people for the wrong reasons

In closing, if you don't want those people around don't tolerate or encourage them.
