I'm a forensic structural engineer. I attended the Forensic Engineering Congress where the engineers who investigated the WTC collapse presented their findings. It was a very straightforward analysis of a simple failure (albeit on a large scale). No mystery, no black magic to any of us who know how buildings are screwed together. It's always humorous to hear the conspiracy theories from the fringes of society though!
