I bought a simiar set-up a few years back. 26" wide, three chests stacked. I went with the ball bearing griplatch, but yours should work well. I am glad I'm 6' plus though. I was showing the set to a 5'8" friend, and he couldn't look down into the top screwdriver drawer. I agree, Sears wants $$$ for the liner material and the wrench organizers. Gotta be a less expensive way to go. Maybe Harbor Freight? I didn't check there.
Congrats on going with the Sears units. One reason I like 'em is "made in the USA"...not China.
