Nope. More than once I have gotten the manager and when he was being difficult I offered to pay for the truck for an additional 10 miles. He looked at me funny then I said "you and I are going for a drive. We go a known route using a GPS. If the mileage is off more than 5% in your favour then I am calling the police and district atty"...
Twice now I have been re-charged a more realistic mileage after doing this. You just have to be in the right, and be able to prove it. They know that the speedo/odometers are off and unless someone is going to stand their ground and be ready to call the cops, they will continue smiling all the way to the bank.
