They might have been worth about 10 years in Federal prison if not registered!
The Class 3 dealer has no ability to acquire "contraband" and somehow make it legal. If these were never registered (wasn't the last "amnesty" in the 1960s?), or if there is no paperwork indicating that a tax stamp was issued when these were last sold/purchased, they are only worth their parts value, less the receivers -- not sure if the parts are worth $1000 each; a lot will depend on the condition of the parts.
