As the story was told to me the LAPD in a high speed chase ran down and pulled over a multi felon holder who had just endangered numerous innocent lives in his high speed fleeing of a robbery and the LAPD proceeded to beat him Rodney King style on the side of the road with Mag Lites and he then sued the city for a handsome amount of cash and the LAPD agreed to get Nerf flash lites for their officers?
