I've been wanting to find a use for the covered toggle switch, like the ones that Chuck Yeager used on the experimental NF-104 rocket-augmented "Starfighter" plane (see the movile "The Right Stuff".
These were also used in the Le Mans winning GT-1 way back in ah....'98? 2000? So long ago I can't remember now.
I think the covered toggles can be bought at an aircraft supply store, like Spruce Aircraft.
