Yes, it was really scary. I thought it was surface rust, so used my finger to try and brush some of it away, only to have my finger go all the way in. Have no idea how the fuel did not run out during last summer!?!

Oh, and some more progress from today (worked from home, so used my lunch time to do some more work on the car
), nice rebuilt and painted 944Turbo caliper. Will do the other one next week, as I am off travelling rest of the week...
