I believe the players
need to sue the accuser. It will give them a chance to put the facts on the public record and prevent her from harrassing them in the future. You may think she will leave them alone and disappear after all of this. But it has been my experience that low-lifes and bottom feeders can only be trusted to behave worse than you expect. Never assume she thinks and feels the way you do. At this point, nothing is stopping her from going on Oprah, selling a book or movie deal based on the original allegations, making up new allegations etc. etc. They need to protect themsleves legally and sue her early and often whenever she opens her mouth. Fortunately, if the facts are on their side (as it appears they are), then a satisfactory suit can probably be had for less than $50k total - which is, IMO, a pretty good deal.
