We have stayed in Coronado Springs & Port Orleans in the moderate priced resorts and Animal Kingdom Lodge in the Deluxe resorts. The amenities are typically the same in each level of hotel. Just the decor and furnishings are different. Coronado springs was clean and comfortable, but we got bored with the Mexican/Southwestern decor.

I would look at the pictures and choose based on which theme you find most attractive. We decided that moderate resorts are a better fit for us than the deluxe. You don't spend enough time in the hotel to justify the difference in price. The moderates rooms are just as nice.

If you plan to be there for several days, you might call reservations and see if you can spend half of your time in one and half in the other.
